DISGAZ

The DisGaz turbine has been developed to obtain gas dispersion effects equivalent to the Rushton turbine, at the same time appreciably reducing the power consumedThe DisGaz mobile is the first developed by AGITEC® for the Low Energy range.

This latest generation turbine will not only allow new installations to be equipped but also replace existing Rushton turbines to reduce energy consumption.

The DisGaz turbine is mainly used because of its extensive centrifugal effect for the dispersion of gas/liquid. This dispersion fosters the gas/liquid exchange for processes such as aerobic fermentation.

It can also be found in special applications such as stripping type processes.
It is often combined with one or more pumping propellers to stimulate the turbine during gaseous dispersion.

DESIGN OF THE DISGAZ TURBINE

Definition basis: Disk turbine with serrated blades
Number of blades: 6
Rotation direction: Clockwise or anticlockwise

FLOW OF DISGAZ STIRRING DEVICES - USE

Horizontal, radial, centrifugal flow.
Vortex creation by depression.
The stirrer equipped with a Rushton turbine can be mounted centred with counter-blades or offset without counter-blades.
Extensive shear effect at max. speed (medium peripheral speed ± 5 m per sec)

Applications:

Gas/liquid dispersion.

Product suitable for the following applications:
